Crochet Daisy

Here is a quick little daisy pattern for you to try.

You can use any yarn you like and the appropriate hook size.

Round 1: Work 8 HDC into a magic circle with yellow yarn (or color of your choice). Slip stitch to join the ring pulling the circle closed and fasten off yellow.

Attach white (or your color choice) and work 8 petals as follows:

Round 2: *Chain 7. Beginning in the 2nd chain from your hook, work as follows down the chain (SC, HDC, DC, DC, HDC, SC) slip stitch into the next stitch on your circle of HDC. * Repeat  7 more times for a total of 8 petal ending by a slip stitch into the base of the first petal and fastening off. Weave in your ends.

You can use these cheerful flowers as an applique, attach it to a clip for your hair or a headband. Really - anything you can think of to use it for!
